LifeRoster runs on web, Android and iOS. Your records live on your device, encrypted, and work with no connection at all — syncing adds a backup and a second device rather than making the app possible.
This page describes what LifeRoster guarantees rather than the parts it is assembled from. A published list of components is a head start for anyone attacking the product, and it tells you nothing useful about whether to trust it.

What LifeRoster guarantees
Each of these is a promise the product is built to keep, not a feature that can quietly lapse.
Platform
Runs everywhere you do
Web, Android and iOS, with a layout built for desk width as well as a phone — the same product, not a cut-down companion.
Offline is the default
Your device holds your data and every module works with no connection. Syncing adds a second device and a backup; it is never what makes the app work.
Installable
Opens from your home screen like any other app, and keeps working when the signal does not.
Your data
Figures are derived, never duplicated
Balances, totals and usage are worked out from the entries behind them. There is no second copy of a number that can quietly disagree with your history.
Your history is protected
Records with history attached refuse to be deleted outright, and a deletion on one device can be recovered from another. Updates never discard what you have already recorded.
Sync
Sync you can see
A status panel shows when you last synced and what is still pending. Anything that fails is shown with a retry rather than disappearing quietly.
Security
Encrypted on your device
Your records are encrypted where they live, protected by your device's own security. If that protection cannot be established, the app stops rather than storing anything readable.
Protected in transit
Anything that leaves your device to reach your other devices is encrypted on the way, and remains tied to your account at the far end.
App lock
An optional PIN or biometric gate in front of the app, for the phone that gets handed around.
You control your devices
See every device signed in to your account and sign any of them out remotely. Deleting your account is a normal action in the app, not a support request.
Experience
Built for modest phones
Performance is measured on low-end hardware and treated as a correctness requirement. Smoothness on a cheap phone is not a nice-to-have.
One interaction model
Every module shares the same search, the same filters, the same forms and the same four states — loading, empty, error and content. Learn one module and you know them all.
23 languages
Translations ship with the app so they work offline, including full right-to-left layouts. Your language preference follows you across devices.
Accessible by default
Type and controls scale with your screen and respect your system font size, without breaking the layout.

Searchable document text
Reading the text on a scanned document, so it can suggest the document number and expiry at scan time and make the contents searchable. The scanner itself is built and in use; this is the layer on top of it, and it is designed rather than written.

More modules understood without a connection. Expenses, ledger entries, meter readings, blood pressure and 'how do I…?' questions already work offline; the remaining modules still need one.
