Bills — Bills
Recurring bills with due dates, reminders and a payment history that is real spending.
Expenses
Understand where your money actually goes.
Capture an expense in seconds with a category, a date and an optional receipt photo, then browse month by month with totals that always match what you are looking at.
Spending is easy to do and hard to see. Individual purchases feel small, statements arrive too late to change anything, and by the end of the month the total is a surprise.
LifeRoster records each expense with its amount, category, date, note and any receipts, then works the month views, category breakdowns and totals out from those same entries. There is no spreadsheet to maintain and no second number that can drift out of step.
Everything listed here is built and in use in Expenses today.
Amount, category, date and an optional note, entered from a bottom sheet or straight from the dashboard quick-add row.
A starting set of categories with their own icons and colours, so your first expense can be filed correctly without any setup.
Attach receipt photos to an expense through the shared image pipeline, with editing and compression handled for you.
Move through spending a month at a time, with a dedicated category breakdown screen behind it.
Every total on screen describes the filtered list — search or filter the view and the figures follow.
A bill payment, a fuel fill, a car service and your share of a split all land here automatically, each tagged with where it came from, so your spending is in one place without being entered twice.
Set a figure for the month and the dashboard shows how much of it is gone, shifting through healthy, caution and critical as you approach it.
Export a period as a formatted PDF, choosing the date range and the categories to include.
Step through it — each step shows where you are in the flow.

Record the expense
Marking a bill as paid records it as real spending, so your totals always include it. There is no separate payments list that can drift out of step with what you actually spent.
Receipts. Scan one and it comes out square and legible rather than a crumpled photo at an angle, which matters when you go back to it months later to check a warranty or a return.
How capture and scanning workThe things that decide whether a module still helps after a year of real use.
Expenses are recorded in shops and restaurants, so entry is a sheet reachable in one tap from the dashboard. The amount field opens a numeric keypad and categories are large, colour-coded tap targets.
Your expenses stay private to your account — encrypted on your device and protected while syncing. LifeRoster does not connect to your bank and imports nothing automatically; every entry is one you added.
